First stop, South Carolina

So our Cross Country Trip began with a stop at the Ellis'. It was a perfect halfway point and another opportunity for the kids as well as Greg and I, to spend a tad more time with our friends. This time we arrived to the Ellis' being home (our May visit we beat them there and had already taken a tour of their house before they came in the door - unlocked back door friends are best).

We had JUST missed Gia's mom there as her visit was prior to ours, but we didn't miss out on her delicious Italian cooking! Thanks for the Lasagna Momma Liz!!

It was incredibly hot so some time at the pool was a must. Gia and I relaxed while Greg played with the kiddos. Jason was working but certainly not as much as we feared. We got to spend more time with him than we thought.

We had our rest with movies, as well as Jason and Greg taking the kids to the skate-park later in the evening, when it was cooler. Mostly, we just spent time together. After all, THAT'S what's most important!!
