We kicked off the season with a Jamboree, which our 2 newest players could not play (not enough hours in pads) but they were there supporting and learning all the same. I've taken to stealing his NC Wildcats Practice Jersey to wear on game days, although it's covered by my NC Wildcats hoodie when it's chilly out!
We're now 5 games in and undefeated!! Sean mostly plays Wide Receiver and Defensive Line. He's really picking up on skill, (we have the MOST kick ARSE coaches I've ever come across)! Our games are held around the area on the High School fields so it's awesome cool to be up in those stands and getting an almost eagle eye vantage point!
Game before last, Sean caught an interception and it was a real breaking point for his confidence level. Now, every evening, you can find the 4 of us in the back yard throwing, kicking and punting the ball! Mike isn't into the organized sports (so much like me) but plays both football and basketball during school/PE.
Football weather has been PERFECT, a hoodie, pair of boots, quilt and cup of coffee, doesn't get any better than that!
Jamboree, not official game
