Our next big stop was Estes Park, CO. We wanted to spend a couple of days in Rocky Mountain National Park so we got a room at a supper cool (mountainous type) hotel. The room was very cabin like, and the river than ran along the hotel itself could be heard throughout the night, so relaxing. The area reminded us a lot of our Smokey Mountain Vacation, Gatlinburg to be more specific. Small, quaint shops, people EVERYWHERE, and mountain air!
From Colorado we headed through Wyoming, the corner of Utah, into Idaho, across Oregon and into Washington where we planted ourselves. Yes, Greg is stationed in Portland, OR, on Swan Island to be specific, but we were 99% sure we wanted to live on the WA side of the Columbia River.
We began our house hunting the following day. Narrowing down areas and properties. After what FELT like forever, we landed a house but had to wait for it's vacancy. We spent a total of 1 month in the hotel, with the last week and a half or so, of Greg getting back into work. It wasn't so bad, I mean, the boys had the pool, who can complain!!
Overall, the trip went very smoothly. It wasn't really THAT long considering our time in SC, AL and LA, as well as CO. We were so excited to get here, and be able to still enjoy the beautiful summer before the rainy season, that we gave up on other stops that we'll consider on our next Cross Country Trip. Could be sooner than we expected, but for now, THIS IS HOME!!!

When I downloaded the original he was literally life size LOL! When I scrolled down his legs and feet were literally life size and appeared to be directly in my face, and that cracked me up. I reached up and ran my hand over his right leg and foot, and his toes. It felt really smooth. I was like I sure hope his feet smell good LOL! I was like OMG! I am going to find out! I leaned close and pressed my nose against the toes of his right foot and began smelling his toes and his foot. I was pleasantly surprised to find out his toes and foot smelled really good LOL! Since his toes and foot smelled good I started kissing his toes and foot, and his legs. His legs and foot and toes felt really warm and smooth. It kinda sent shivers up and down my spine. I sat there for the longest caressing and kissing his legs and foot, and his toes. It was really fun.
